Cake should it be served for Desert or for the Bridal Dance/Dollar Dance If serving the cake fpr desert then the cake cutting ceremony must take place early after the introduction of the wedding party. I you want the cake to be around longer for the sake of pictrures then use the cake for the Dollar Dance also know as the Bridal Dance. Be very careful about the placement of the cake.Check the table is it properly postioned? Are the legs locked so that it does not sway and fall dowm. Caketop Pieces and Cake Decorations: Beware of those white plastic columns Instead of the cheap looking plastic bride and groom caketops, use fresh flowers, pastry molded and shaped flowers, an nice wedding statue, a favorite momento that is precious to the bride and groom. Or, if you or someone close saves "collectibles", consider borrowing a favorite piece or add or start your own collection with your caketop. You can your cake and eat it
